A vacant Woolco-Home Depot buiding on the north end of the mall was torn down in 2003. For 12 years, the north end of MALL OF THE AMERICAS was configured as shown here. In 2015, this section of the shopping hub was demolished to make way for a new Costco.

Speaking of which, we have a site plan showing the truncated mall and new Costco (in light gray). This store opened for business in April 2017. With its completion, MALL OF THE AMERICAS spans approximately 672,500 leasable square feet.

The 35-year-old MALL OF THE AMERICAS name was retired in May 2022. The shopping hub would now be known as MIDWAY CROSSINGS.
