The CUTLER RIDGE Sears was built, as a freestanding store, some distance south of the strip center. In the late 1970s, the gap between Richards and Sears was filled with an enclosed mall (in medium gray). This was developed by Youngstown, Ohio's Edward J. DeBartolo Corporation. With this addition, the complex covered approximately 442,000 leasable square feet and contained seventy-seven stores and services.
