A mid-'70s footprint of WASHINGTON SQUARE. At the time, the mega mall was anchored by Meier & Frank, J.C. Penney, Sears, Lipmans, Nordstrom and Liberty House. At 1,093,500 square feet, it was the largest enclosed mall in the state; a distinction held until a major renovation of LLOYD CENTER in the early 1990s.
