By 1969, the facility has been expanded in three directions. Montgomery Ward opened, as a freestanding store, in September 1966. A fully-enclosed West Wing, linking the original complex and Wards, was dedicated in December 1967. This addition (in medium gray) included a Buttrey-Osco Food & Drug and cinema. A Buttrey's Suburban department store, built as a westward continuation of the Upper Level, made its debut in July 1969.
