100 OAKS MALL, as it appeared at the time of its October 1967 grand opening. The 15 million dollar mall spanned the area between a "New Look" Penneys (on the north end) and Woolco discount mart (on the south). The shopping facility included a 6-story Office Tower.

The original 100 OAKS MALL was configured with a lower floor, known as the Powell Avenue Level, and upper floor, designated as its Mall Level. On the periphery of the main structure were a Penney's Auto Center, bank branch, Giant Foods supermarket and single-screen Martin Theatre. The parking area accommodated 4,000 autos.
