A circa-2015 plan of HONEY CREEK MALL. The early '90s refurbishment included conversion of a vacant G.C. Murphy to the Food Courtyard (shown in medium gray). By the Twenty-tens, two mall anchors have been rebranded and then rebranded again. Meis became an Elder-Beerman in 1989 and Carson's in 2011. The Root Store came under the L.S. Ayres banner in 1999 and was "Macy-ated" in 2006.

Speaking of which, the HONEY CREEK MALL Macy's closed for good in March 2018. This store defection was followed by the shuttering of Carson's, in June of the same year.
