By 2013, several stores have come and gone. Kmart closed for good and was replaced by a supermarket in July 1996 (it was expanded and rebranded -as the Winco Foods seen here- in 1999). Gottschalks shut down, with its building divided between Old Navy and Bed, Bath & Beyond. These stores welcomed shoppers in August 2007.
