If you were to descend on the escalator seen above, you would have ended up at the Plaza Level Court seen here. An entrance into the lower level of S.S. Kresge is seen in the center of the photo. A Colonial Stores supermarket would have been across the plaza (or off of the right side of this picture).

The marquee of the original, single-screen Lenox Square Theatre, which occupied a portion of the shopping hub's Market Level. Considering the film being shown, the photo must have been taken in early 1965. And yes, that's an Aston Martin DB5, similar to the one driven by "007" in the film.

A Googie-style Gulf filling station was built as part of the 1959 shopping complex. It stood at the northwest corner of the East Paces Ferry and Lenox Roads intersection. Today, the J.W. Marriott Atlanta Buckhead Hotel stands on the site.
