By the early 1990s, SEVEN CORNERS had been outpositioned by the myriad of newer shopping venues in its vicinity. Between early 1995 and late 1997, the complex was given a major remodeling. The mall proper and Garfinckel's were gutted and renovated, with the vacant Woodward & Lothrop being razed. It was replaced by a vertically-stacked Shopper's Club and Home Depot (shown in medium gray).
