With the opening of Winco Foods, in September 2016, COUNTRY CLUB PLAZA came full circle. It featured a supermarket on its south end, as it had in its original -1958- incarnation.

The new Winco store repurposed a vacant Gottschalks. Another idle mall space was filled when Planet Fitness assumed the old Ross Dress For Less location, in December 2016.

In the year 2020, the oft-beleaguered COUNTRY CLUB PLAZA seems to be doing relatively well. Several of its empty store spaces have been retenanted, leaving just one major vacancy to deal with. The north anchor store has been idle since Macy's pulled up stakes, in March 2016.
