Sacramento's Florin Center


The original FLORIN CENTER logo was designed in the mid-1960s. It was used to promote the Capital's first fully-enclosed shopping hub, which was officially dedicated in February 1968.

In this late 1960s aerial view, a Sears Auto Center is seen in the lower right. Moving toward the left, we have the mall and its three anchor department stores. A freestanding White Front discount mart appears in the upper left.
