New York City's Kings Plaza


This suburban-style shopping hub, the first built within the corporate limits of New York City, opened for business in September 1970. By 1976, it was being  promoted as The Great American Shopping Center.

The fully-enclosed shopping hub included a 5-level parking garage as one of its many amenities. The garage is seen in the upper left of this aerial snapshot.
