The original incarnation of Sacramento's ever-changing shopping venue. Its construction phases are shown in four different colors. In 1961, the CENTRE houses forty-six stores and services and is anchored by Washington State's Rhodes and J.C. Penney (of New York City). There are presently parking spaces for over 1,000 autos.
