Raleigh's NORTH HILLS MALL, which was the first roofed retail hub in The Triangle. The 2-level complex started in 1960 as a single-level, L-shaped strip center. It was expanded into the structure seen here in 1966-1967.

A circa-'72 view of the CRABTREE VALLEY MALL Sears, which anchored the west end of the complex. This was the store's original location. It was replaced by a newly-built structure during a mid-1990s renovation.
