South Florida's Palm Beach Mall

A full-line Penneys, dedicated in October 1967, was among the first operational stores at the gargantuan South Florida shopping complex.

Miami-based Richards, which also opened in October 1967, presided over the opposite end of the mall.

One of the first major suburban shopping centers in the Palm Beaches, PALM COAST PLAZA was formally dedicated in November 1959. It was originally an open-air strip complex of twenty-five stores and services. An enclosed shopping concourse was finished in July 1967, three months before the official dedication of PALM BEACH MALL.
