Stix, Baer & Fuller was one of the mall's two original anchors. Dedicated in February 1974, it was the chain's fifth branch. One of its many features was The Garden Room, an upscale restaurant.

In 1977, the 4-year-old JAMESTOWN MALL encompassed around 682,000 leasable square feet. The complex contained 86 stores and services under its roof. Free parking was provided for 3,500 autos.
