BROADWAY MALL, circa-2008. Two anchor stores have been rebranded. Stern's morphed into the aforementioned Macy's and a vacant J.C. Penney building has been gutted, expanded and retenanted by Target. A shuttered Nobody Beats The Wiz is now a Sam Goody music store and Steve & Barry's University Sportswear.

A new mall owner came on the scene in February 2014. They started an indoor-outdoor face lift in August 2015, which was completed in January 2016. The Main Entrance, shown in the "then & then" photo, was rebuilt as seen above. The interior of the shopping facility was also refurbished, with existing stores relocated and new tenants signed.

The final phase of the remodeling brought a new name. As of January 2017, the complex would be officially known as BROADWAY COMMONS.

By 2017, a great deal of inline store space has been reconfigured. Tenants such as New York & Company have been downsized. A freestanding On The Border restaurant has moved inside the mall. New Forever 21 and Blaze Pizza stores have also opened. A Round 1 Bowling & Amusement Center has taken the old 2-level Steve & Barry's space, along with a section of a shuttered Sam Goody.
